SMS Credits are calculated in two different scenarios.
1. Normal Characters
2. Unicode Characters
1. Normal Characters:
Navigate: SMS+ -> Template -> type the message in box.
Here you are allowed to type the message content or select the template from the content manager. Refer here to create the template in Content Manager.
Note:
1. Select the template already created in the Content Manager. Refer here on how to create templates.
2. For English, the Characters are counted as 160 Character (including space) as one (1) credit, and more than 160 characters, 153 character is 1 credit.
2. Unicode Characters: Unicode allows you to send messages in different regional languages.
Navigate -> SMS+ -> Template -> Unicode -> select the translator and type the message in box.
Please Note:
1. Select the template already created in the Content Manager. Refer here on how to create templates.
2. Unicode language characters are counted as 70 characters (including space) as 1 credit, More than 70 Characters, 67 characters is 1 credit.
